Campus Culture Month
In order to implement the "Promoting all-around development in five areas" educational policy and enrich the campus moral education resources, the Junior High School Department of the west campus held a series of campus cultural activities in May.
In the first place, a small table tennis ball connected the bonds of friendship among classmates, as students strengthened their bodies, cultivating teamwork through friendly competition.
Outstanding players: Chen Weiyi from Class 705, Liu Zhi from Class 706, Tang Shengming from Class 708, and Lu Mingchen from Class 709.
In the second place, students created geographical models by hand, exploring the wonders of landforms through hands-on creation and strengthening their geographical literacy.
In the third place, the melodious poetry continued the national and family cultural heritage, which was centered around recitation, aiming to cultivate a sense of patriotism and accumulate cultural depth.
In the fourth place, not only did the English short play performance help students improve their oral expression skills, but also showcased their overall stage performance abilities.
In the fifth place, the historical scenario reenactment activity enabled students to assume the roles of historical figures, allowing them to appreciate history and reflect on the past through role-playing.
In the sixth place, in the class basketball league, the athletes competed fiercely on the court, honing their willpower through the intense competition.
In the seventh place, the "Egg Colliding with the Earth" fun science and innovation challenge enabled students to flexibly apply physical principles to create protective structures, thus cultivating their spirit of exploration and innovation.
In the eighth place, the psychological seminar focused on the psychological and physical confusion during adolescence, guiding students to face the changes in their growth and learn to accept their own emotions.
In the ninth place, the legal knowledge competition promoted learning through competition, helping eighth-grade students solidify their legal knowledge and establish a legal concept of abiding by laws and regulations.
Last but not the least, targeted psychological expansion helped alleviate the pressure of the final exams, alleviating pre-exam anxiety, and assisting students in facing the Senior High School Entrance Examination with a calm mindset.
To conclude, the campus cultural activities are closely aligned with the educational goals for junior high school students. More remarkably, not only do various practical activities enrich the campus cultural life but also effectively promote the moral education work of our school.
